I have been looking at the forum for a while and found it extremely useful. We've booked flights and apartment (Las Mimosas) for August and now looking at transfers. We usually use taxis but need to save a few quid this year so will probably try Resort Hoppa. I've noticed they seem to regularly have discounts but was wondering whether it's best to book early and whether prices increase nearer the time. Also noted that the shuttles drop off at nearest hotel - would ours be Montelin or Villa Concha?

Hi there Hrjanger.

We used Resorthoppa recently and it was fine - not too many drop-offs or pick-ups en route. We have an apartment in Las Mimosas and used the Villa Concha as a drop-off Hotel, as my daughter used the Montelin as a pick-up and had a bit of a runaround, as they weren't as familiar with this hotel. Good Luck.

Hi there,

We used the regular Resorthoppa service (didn't pay extra for their speedy service) several times this year & were very pleased. A couple of times we were in our apartment within 2 hrs of landing. As you are booking for next year you have plenty of time before booking transfer. You can book up to 48hrs before travel so I would wait till next year & keep an eye out for the 10% discount times that Resorthoppa have frequently put out this year. Also you can book through a cashback site eg Quidco you can get another approx 10% cashback on your booking.
Hope this helps.

Many thanks for your replies. I'll sit tight and wait for the next 10% offer. The advice about drop off hotels was very useful. Thanks again.

We used resort hoppa this year for the first time and would use them again, but would not bother with speedy transfer again. We had about a 40 minute wait at Palma and then the coach went via Cala San Vicente (we were staying in Puerto Pollensa) so did not feel it was particularly speedy. I think we were one of the last coaches out of the airport that night and I imagine it would not have made any difference if we had booked the speedy transfer or not.
