Ah Centric - Fond memories - Rest in Peace.

Always one of my favourite restaurants "back in the day". Have great memories of sitting next to the "Sa Nostra" and watching the activity in the square. Always one of our "musts" whilst in PP.

Either way - A little like Tango in that it was a key part of the square.

Panini Nord is now called "Take eat easy" they will be specialising in mainly healthy options and all packaging for take-aways is made from environmentally friendly bio degradable materials .

El Mojito is now called "Osteria N 15 BBQ Lounge" but i don't know if this means it is under new ownership. Also the Restaurante Mojito Pizzaria has now become "Restaurante Mojito Grill". Some photos here :-

The BBQ Lounge sign was always there. N15 is number 15. It is just called Osteria and yes it is under new ownership. Mojitos is still mojitos. Same menu as always but one year it was a grill then rebranded as a pizzeria and the next a grill again but with the same menu and same owner.

That would be a surprise if the owner has sold it, I know he owns a fair chunk of the port and as with most of the locals they don't like to let their property go! Hope the menu is the same, he has some great veggie dishes and his tumbet is one of my favorites dishes in the port.

Bella Vista now Restaurante Bellaverde.

It seems that La Cantina2 have taken over the Pension BellaVista restaurant, opening tomorrow.

They have posted on FB that it will now be called Restaurante Bellaverde, it will still be a vegetarian and Vegan restaurant which is fantastic for all our veggie members and they say they will still be on the Tapas Route. I wish them all the best in their new venture .

Really, strange!!

A reliable source has confirmed that this is indeed true. IMO this represents proper Italian competition in and around the square. I like a good pizza from time to time but something a little bit different will be a welcome addition.
