Hi All - I am arriving late on Friday evening and wondered which restaurants still serve food around 11 pm. My choice would have been Manduca...but...

If you check-out the "Eating Out" section of the Forum, you will see that Ca'n Tofol is open until 3.00 a.m.

I am also arriving late, so it's good to know that I won't starve..

I'm packing Marmite peanuts to see me through until morning! Never did find that Marmite chocolate easter egg! :o

Does it make any difference that it will be 1st May? Not sure if its a holiday that I taken. Will any close that are usually open?

It's the official start of the season, many staff contracts also start on this day. So nearly all restaurants will be open although some shops may be closed and of course the banks :D.

Yes Manduca would have been our first choice too.....I would imagine that there is a pretty good chance that the Chinese Restaurants will be open. :)

Have to say that the last couple of nights have been incredibly quiet, most of restaurants near front line shut about 10.30pm!

El Posito was fairly busy with early diners, but by 9.30pm most had gone. We prefer to eat later so we had 2 chefs and 3 waiters all to ourselves.

There are usually more people about on a Friday with many locals dining after 10pm, Casa Vila are usually open later than most and as Lorenzo said the Chinese are always open late.
