Ross (ex Can Pacienci) will be back cooking up a storm in Nostalgia from Saturday 2nd April and Lee and Ana will also return probably from Easter.
As of next week Nostalgia will be open Tuesday-Saturday 6.30pm til late and Sunday for roast lunch etc from 12.30pm-3.30pm then 7pm til late. :D

Great news sparky! We've only had one meal (so far) at Nostalgia but it was very good. Ross' (have I put the apostrophe in the right place?!) thai curry was really delicious :p

As me skool report used to say must try 'arder next time

It's defin.I.tely Nostalgia though not Nostalgia's!

It would appear that i have been mis-informed and Ross will actually be back at the helm on Friday 1st April.

Lorenzo as you know the first drink is always on me........in the Tapas Bar and everyone is welcome ;).

As an English teacher you might be disgusted to know that at teacher training and basic skills training we were encouraged to use the rule "If in doubt - leave out!"
as to get it wrong is much more noticeable.

Are you still talking about punctuation Eleanor?

I wasn't actually talking about punctuation in the first place SWS. I was simply responding to Debz post re. 'It's defin.I.tely Nostalgia though not Nostalgia's!'

My point being that this is a forum and we really need not worry about being exact as it really doesn't matter on here. It would be awful for people not to post due to the feeling that they may be judged. It really doesn't matter! I'm sure there are many like me who's fingers work quicker than their brain!

Sorry Elanour it was my attempt at humour which went right over your head, it was in response to what you said, it must be how my mind works :)

OK guys i think it's time stop talking about the finer points of the English language, none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes, this is a forum not the Open University.
This thread is about Ross returning to Nostalgia can we now get back on topic, thank you.

Yes Debz his Thai food is excellent as are the steaks, fish & chips and....well it's all good and Michaela who has been cooking during the winter is also a very accomplished cook. Hope to see you there one night soon ;).

From this Friday 22nd April, Nostalgia will be open every weekday 10am til late, Saturdays 6pm til late and Sundays 12.30pm til late.:D

I just would like to add, we had sunday lunch at Nostalgia, last week, and it was great.

Probably the best SL that I can remember in the 15 or so years we have visited the port.

When we return in June we will definitely return and try some of the Thai food.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but thought I would join up to say how much friends and I enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Nostalgia during our recent holiday. Colin the owner was incredibly welcoming (particularly when he found out we were big Mad Dogs fans!) and we thought Nostalgia's freshly prepared meals (in particular the awesome salads) were definitely worth a repeat trip.

I'll have to agree wiiiiiiiiiiith...............Wibble. Colin is certainly a very friendly host (even tho he did find it funny putting all his wigs on my balding pate  ) , and a great singer too.
