The German side of this is that the windsors had their surname changed from Saxe Coburg and Gotha in 1917.Due mainly to the anti German sentiment created by WW1.George V thought it a wise move if the monarchy was to survive.As usual the population fell for it.What was wrong with plain old Smith !!!

I'll be round cos I was wondering what there was going to be for us N.F.I s
( That's " Not Formally Invited " for the unitiated , sorry Bella for being a smart arse !!! ).

I did ring the Palace and asked if I could have Col Gaddafi or Porky Andy's ticket but to no avail cos I p**sed the Queen off bigtime a few years back and she has a memory like an elephant !!!

BonyLadette will probably wander round later as she will be glued with her nose six inches from the TV Screen seeing what the Chav is wearing.

Will get me Union Jack Breeches out for the occasion . ( Ironic folks but if I wore them as a tourist everybody would be looking down their nose at me !!).

We now have the itinerary for the Royal wedding Street Party

Open 11am for the build up to the wedding (tv’s on the terrace and in the bar)
12 midday the ceremony starts
13.30 pm Lunch is served,
homemade soup with crusty bread,
choice of sausage toad in the hole or cottage pie,
apple pie with cream,

Main course 6,95
2 course 9,95
3 course 12,50

Childrens menu will be available 4,50
