Fantastic tapas last night

Managed 7 which is remarkable considering that I was led astray the previous evening which included pizza espania from little Italy ;Hustlers with special guest in O'Haras and singing and dancing in Nostalgia ....... If carlsberg did nights out .... As they say


Getting back to this post we did Rustic Ivy BarRumba Taps Cantina and LosZarzalesx2

Amazing we managed a second night on the trot with those hangovers So much for the diet cokes we said we were going to drink last night!!! Agree the tapas last night were all fantastic. Especially liked the ones at Los Z...well done on your first night participating in the Tapas Route.

Cafe 63 is open again and back on the Ruta .

We had great fun on the tapas trail last night.
We started in the Rustic Cafe which is always good- we had sausage with onion jam in a wrap, albondigas and also humous and chicken with fresh fig - all very yummy.
Then on to the Ivy Garden where we were treated to salmon flakes in mayonnaise and sliced creamy potatoes.
Then on to Tots where there was some great sax music by Santiago and a guitar player. The tapas there were some crispy delicious croquettes with a padron pepper.
Then finally on to La Taperia where there was a choice of tapas - we chose some chicken pieces on a skewer and some red chilli peppers stuffed with cream cheese on a bed of serrano ham and bread.

What a great night!

How do these bars know you are expecting Tapas trail prices and service, do you have to tell them ?

Most ask you if you are there for the ruta as they will have a display of the food. Some you need to tell them. Bars that are taking part will have a sign up in the window.

Our web page Ruta del Tapeo - Tapas Route in Puerto Pollensa (Port de Pollenca), Majorca (Mallorca) has now been updated with the latest participants (18 of them ) & you can download & print out the latest leaflet & map.

Do keep going on the route - it will apparently be running all year! - but I should think may dwindle in Winter. We shall see.

From October 5th, La Ruta is moving to Fridays 7pm- 11pm .

AHHH!! I'm jinxed! Missed it twice in July so was all set for 4th October with birthday dinner planned for O'Lume on 5th! Need to have rethink.........
