I think they should introduce a swear box!!

Maybe a good behaviour card to be stamped on the way out. If you don't have one on your return it costs you £10 to board!!

£10 for standing in the aisles!!

£15 for wearing a footy shirt on the flight!!

PS if anyone pinches these and wins the competition I demand a share!!!

When do you think they will realise that we dont want it to be too cheap we just want sensible, fair prices.

Unfortunately Ryanair dont fly from Newcastle!! or should that be Fortunately!!!

I love the emergency debarcation fee!

How about £10 to have your hand luggage in the locker above your head and not at the other end of the plane That should speed up boarding and debarcation.

Just a quickie on this as I absolutely agree with you! We were on an EasyJet flight at the start of this year and as we walked on virtually the whole of one side had one person sitting in aisle and another by the window with the middle seat free. As I walked past the attendant half way down, I couldnt resist saying in a rather loud voice,"How strange that there are so many single people on this flight, and how lucky that half of them want to sit in the aisle and half by the window!" She just looked at me, smiled and half shrugged. The following flight, surprisingly, they actually mentioned that all couples should seat themselves to enable the aisle seat to be free.
And did they......???

Well, I'm very glad I already decided I will NEVER fly with Ryanair because I wouldn't like to be thumped or have nasty comments made about me when I sit in an aisle seat. I have to - I don't think I could fly if I had to sit anywhere else as it is one of my coping strategies which helps me overcome my fear of flying.

Please note that I am NOT saying it is wrong for anyone to sit in an aisle seat! I am saying it is wrong for COUPLES to split themselves up for one to sit in an aisle seat and another to sit by the window to enable them to have the centre seat for themselves aswell. My quote about single people flying was a sarcastic one as obviously they were not all single but couples splitting the three seats between them.
I hope this clears things up, and I sympathise totally with your concern with flying.

I think flying brings out the worst in a lot of people, don't get me started on the ones who decide to recline their seats and virtualy land on your lap At least Ryanair have done away with these type of seats. As far as the selfish couples who attempt to help themselves to a extra seat, nothing would give me more pleasure than squeezing in between and boring them rigid for 2 hours. Believe me, they won't do it again

Hey Smiddy, that's such a great idea. I travel alone from time to time and I am SO going to try that middle seat routine. Sadly, I'm not 23 stone of rippling overweightness, that would teach the *******s an even better lesson!

Oh to have such fun on ar aeroplane!

Just heard (tongue in cheek ) that they are now going to charge extra £2 for every kilo that a person weighs over 80 kilos!!! Above 95 kilos you have to buy an extra seat!!

You will not just be having your bags weighed at the airport!!

Can you imagine!!

I dare not enter this in the competition (competition@ryanair.com) in case they take it up!!!

Suppose they could claim ownership of the air circulating in the cabin and charge us for breathing!

Mind you i notice they have just ordered 300-400 new Boeing and Airbus aircraft at a cost of E300 BILLION!!!!!

I read somewhere that air does cost the airline, its certainly an "invisible to customer" area of savings so they recycle it as much as possible!!

Some airlines were in the news recently because of their poor air quality. No wonder we often catch colds etc when we fly.

How about a tenner for your own air bubble with air supply!!!!

How about a multiple extras deal: Air bubble+catheter(save on trips to the loo)+intravenous alcohol drip, all for £25 per flight!!

Following on from this clean air thread, Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 this morning said that "passing wind" was the only thing you can now do for free on Ryanair!!!!

Now theres a money making idea/spinoff!!! Nose pegs £1, Airfreshner £2, Scented wipes £1 etc.
