Looking forward to what type of ‘pants’ they use :D

That would be great if it is for pants

Whoops PANTS!!! I have visions now of a line of G Strings, Bikinis, Brazilians and even a few pairs of Bridget Jone's BIG knickers!!!

Will go and edit the post immediately :D :D

Sparky's "Here's another one" photo in post #74 has just reminded me -

My grand-daughter came up with an excellent new game to play last year. You should try it.

She jogs along and leaps between each of those terracotta-type inlay strips - to see how far she can go without stepping on the grey concrete.

And grandad sometimes joins in with her :-)

I wish I was there to take the photos myself but the truth is that I took them off Facebook last week to show my better half.

We arrive tomorrow for the first of this years visits, I intend to take some photographs and I will "try" to post them here.

Ah!! that explains it. I think they were taken a few weeks ago, the work is much further on now, in fact they have almost finished apart from the road which will be done last ;)

Just taken a walk down there. Got to say they've done a cracking job. Maybe the cyclists will learn to cycle on the path they've had built for them as well and not the footpath like today!

The soil is going into the areas left untiled so looks like trees or shrubs will be planted.

Lol! Yes I looked at the webcam 3 times today and each time there was someone cycling on the footpath ;)

Car

Don't blame the cyclists , it's not the cyclists fault it's the drugs there on.

The big machine is tearing up the old surface so the new tarmac should be laid within the next few days :D.

I have taken some photographs but cannot work out how to post them, I will get technical advice from my Sons when we return.
When we were in Los Faroles on Monday they said that the workmen had told them the carpark would be cleared this coming Monday and the road would be open by the end of next week.

Well, The one thing that veterans of PP will have to concede is that the new layout is miles better than what was there. :)

The only difference is that In my world it would have been done years ago.

Still, better late than never.

Wonder if the cyclists will give way to the pedestrians who use the zebra crossing?
