Special night out..some help please!

We have never been to Pollensa, but are going with our friends to their apartment next month. We would like to take them out for a really special meal by way of a thank you. Please can I have some suggestions? We don't mind a taxi ride out of town if necessary, and I know it will be pricey, but need some help!

I would suggest Clivia in Pollensa.

Food is fabulous (I was there in June again) and definitely where I would take friends as a thank you.

It does not have to be pricey Los Pescadores on pine walk serves great food and is very reasonable,
the setting is fantastic and the views from the upstairs terrace cannot be bettered anywhere in the resort. (not even on my terrace)
