Speed Camera on Ma-220 near Son Brull

On the right had side as you leave the Pollenca area just before Son Brull, is that grey thing a speed camera?

If so, what is the speed limit along that road?

Yes they are speed cameras.

I think the limit is 90kmh. Not got a ticket yet.

Yes - we got a fine a couple years ago and now stick to about 70km just to be on the safe side!

You do get a decent warning with a big sign about a mile in front of it, just like the ones on the motorway to the airport.....not that it stopped me getting nicked in January!

The last time we drove past that there was a sign as Rockape says but no mention of the speed limit on the sign.

If the sign said ' 90 ' with the radar speed camera logo then people might slow down.

The camera would not make as much money that way though.

If you install TomTom on your mobile phone is warns of the speed cameras and also shows the speed of most roads. not always 100% accurate but a good guide.
