Sports bar

When I was out last week I spotted a couple of oriental chaps removing some fittings from the Sports bar on the front - anyone heard what might be happening there?

If it is the sports bar then done as the right kind of bar, cocktail bar or eatery it could be such a great venue in a very good position.

It's never quite found its true identity IMO.

If it is Matchpoint I certainly shan't be sorry - not that I have any particular objection to sports bars per se, but I thought they had decorated it in a particularly insensitive and unattractive style - it did nothing to enhance PP. Not sure how busy it was in season but it never looked very well used when we were there.

Not sure there is really the need for a sports bar anyway as so many other bars and restaurants show matches etc now. Let's hope it's not another pizzeria!

I vaguely remember it as Suttons and yes, it was quite nice from memory. Having an upstairs looking across the marina helped as well - though not so much the view of the bus station in front!
