This Sunday 23rd March is the Classico, the big game between Real Madrid and Barcelona, the kick off is at 21:00hrs and most Spanish bars will be showing the game, there is always a good atmosphere with lots of friendly banter, a couple of bars of note are geminis, the Bodeguita and Can Tofol. If you want to see this spectacular then get there early for a seat.

Casa Manolo is another bar for great atmosphere and they have more seating than the others .

My seat has been booked but i am not saying where, i don't want it to get so busy that i have to wait for my drink, Forca Barca!!!!.

Ok i can tell you now......i was in La Roda and it was a fantastic evening, we had good food and service, there was an equal mix of RM and Barca supporters (all very vocal as only the Spanish can be ), two very good friends joined us in the 2nd half (you know who you are ) and most importantly my glass was always half full ........oh and the best team won .

Not sure if Can Balache have started their summer opening hours yet , but here is Mulligans program for the week. Some of the Spanish bars may show it but as Barcelona/Athletico Madrid are playing tonight i am not be certain.....Bony might well be showing it though.

The boys at The Pines along from the Rustic Cafe have installed a massive new dish so they can show all the major games and we have watched some great matches there. Check this out and enjoy a drink or some reasonably priced home cooked food at the same time.
