Watched today as Rest. Stay was finally demolished.
They had left the original building for a day or so before that finally went too.
They say that they hope to be re-built and open again by Easter! (their web site says it may be a little later.)

boo hoo, such happy memories.
Must try and get to the new one some time.....

It is indeed a sad loss , we had our best evening of our holiday there last year, watching the sun set behind the mountains.

Even the kids loved it, feeding the fish with bread rolls that the waiters had given them.

I for one will be going to the new restaurant, the next time we go to PP. Lets hope it,s just as good

Remarkable how quickly these guys can re-build. Some years ago i was in PP Mid-Feb when the Miramar had been reduced to a mere shell, returned begining of June and the place was finished.

Re Stay

Looking forward to it being re built.
However, as I think Frito has said, the manager of Can Cuarrasa is taking over the soon to be finished restaurant La Longa in front of the Club Nautica. Got to give that a try!!!!
