By "tabac" I take it you mean cigarettes?

I could, of course, recommend the forum favourite "Mir" but we found a place called "Dover" when we visited in May which sold cigarettes, cigars and alcohol by the bucket load.

It's opposite Tango restaurant on the Formentor road and is a real treasure trove.

It's not a large shop but is packed with everything you need to take home - lots of wines (Spanish and Mallorcan) plus beers, spirits and liqueurs.

Mir is also good but watch the older stock in there and avoid older wines on the top floor. The storage is not ideal for wine as it's far too hot!

I have always fround that the big main Tabac on the seafront on road out of resort towards Alcudia is the best value for cigarettes - always a euro or two cheaper than anyone else which is consideration if you want to take a large quantity home. Best value for spirits and liquers is Mir but it is a huge shop and you have to spend a bit of time searching out what you want - but it's great if you want to try something different as the choice is enormous.....Be careful that the price he charges you is the same as the 'special offer' price in the window"!!.....Dover is smaller and better laid out and good value but not such a wide selection...there is quite a good one opposite the Irish Bar near the square but do not know the name.....

One & the same (Mir that is) & I'm pretty sure that the place opposite the Irish bar is owned by the same (?) I'm sure a resident could confirm this.
