No he mainly sings in English though I think he is Spanish. He just sings cover versions really. Nothing really wrong with it, he can sing ok but it is just a tad dreary! I would much prefer more Spanish music and entertainment generally in the port. Apart from Mariano Miranda, I am not really aware of anything else

Bella, we celebrated a friends birthday when we were there and the Tango did us proud. Food was very good, and I think excellent value for money. Nice cake, candles, happy birthday, and as always such a lovely warm welcome from the staff.
The duo are pleasant, just easy listening type songs, we had a few dances, well sort of dancing and a thoroughly good evening.

Thanks Susie, hope we will meet up again one day! If I get a birthday cake for my mum at every restaurant we take her to, I think we will be waddling down Pine Walk! Will definitely be going to Tango though, just deciding which night.

I would definitely check with someone who can ask them direct though. We were over last week and we didnt see it open at all. It may well have been wrong times of passing, but suggest giving them a ring to confirm.

They are always closed on Thursdays and will be closed for the whole of February 2012 .

I think in the winter they close on Sunday evenings as well.

They also appeared closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday too last week!!

I will try to find out more tomorrow, i spoke with Manolo and Paquita about three weeks ago in El Posito and they gave me the info i have posted .

Maybe, like a lot of restaurants here, they are playing it by ear. Everywhere is very quiet at the moment especially evenings in the early part of the week, so those that are open tend to close up early if they have no customers.

You could be right, especially as Tango's is quite a way out of the port area. It amazes me how many restaurants in the port do stay open with all lights and heating on for just a few customers. Some say that they have had a good October, so they can bear the cost of a slack November. Others struggle. Good luck to them all!

I have just phoned them and they assured me that they are open every evening from 18.30 until 22.30 except Thursday.
