Taxi or Car Hire?

Hi, we're thinking about booking a week in the Daina apts in October and were wondering if anyone could give us any insight on whether it would be better to book a taxi transfer or hire a car? There doesn't seem to be much difference in price but we are wondering what parking would be like in the middle of Puerto Pollensa.

Any help/tips would be appreciated as we've only ever gone "package" to PP before.

October is no problem parking go for car hire you can then do some trips out.

We have travelled to Puerto Pollensa each October for the last 5 years and have never had a problem finding a parking space, day or night, and we also stay in the centre of town.We enjoy the freedom that car hire gives you and with the town and surrounding areas being quiet at that time of year you should find it an enjoyable experience-have a wonderful time.

We regularly visit PP in the August hols and have always managed to get a parking space in the carpark near the public swimming pool. If it's your 1st visit to majorca it will be lovely for you to have a few sight-seeing days visiting this lovely island.
