OMG!!! how time flies, i have just had a quick vino in El Posito and they tell me that the place is going to pretty much full tonight. The Liverpool Ramblers are back in town on their annual visit and as always they will be joined by the veterans of Port de Pollenca FC. Many of you will have seen the guys on previous visits, they are great fun and usually some of them go about in fancy dress .
I will post more details as and when i get them and maybe some pics .

They are such a crazy bunch of guys, but i like them . So this years "theme" is a schoolboy football team, in El P tonight it was loud but hilarious with the headmaster and his deputy being the biggest offenders. I caught them smoking behind the bike sheds twice and there were a couple of illicit games of "spoof" being played (no money changing hands i hasten to add). At 11pm they decamped to Marina Cafe, i thought i had gone deaf, it became so quiet.
They will hold the traditional game of footy at the PP football ground tomorrow, kick off is 6.30pm.

Had a drink and a chat with the head, deputy head and 3 others last night, i was allowed to read their "Yellow rule book" it was very funny. Some of the boys have gone home already but a few of them are here until Friday and they have various activities arranged, mostly involving eating and drinking .
Next year will be the 25th anniversary of this amazing friendship and they are already planning for it. Of course Silver will feature somewhere in the theme but Fun will be their top priority, bless them .
