The Jolly Sailor

This is one of those places up along side the Pollensa Park, and actually is the kind of place we would not normally go to. No offence to the owners or patrons, but just not our normal kind of eatery. However, after a particularly tiring day, (oh yes, I don't lay in bed all day every day!!), we decided to walk somewhere close and cheap.
Anyway, we ended up here, and the very pleasant waitress asked if we would like a drink before our meal. Wifey said she would like a pineapple juice, (one of the things that attracted her to me all those years ago was that she was a cheap date!! ) and I asked for a pint of Amstell. A few minutes later, she returned with the afore mentioned zumo de pina, and TWO pints of lager. Apparently it was Happy Hour. Now anyone who knows me, will vouch for the fact that I would be quite happy to drink more than one pint, but to sit at a table, by the road with two full pints in front of me, in full view of the rapidly increasing number of holiday makers, did make me feel quite self conscious. So I was forced to down one quite quickly, which took the edge off the evening a bit too quickly for my liking.
Moral; Check if it's happy hour before sitting at a front of house table
