However bad the acting is so worth watching for the beautiful scenery especially with the dull wet weather we are having

Just watched the first episode so far, thought it was better then last series, one or 2 good lines, really only interested for the scenery, but there are a lot of worse shows around at the moment.

I did try something similiar to that once where i did grin and bare it.
Result was it frightened animals and children and i got arrested.

You got arrested for grinning! Wow. Lockdown is hard.

If you want to see the Port area (though they have disguised it a bit by adding many types of 'props' and hoards of 'extras'), choose Series 2 Episode 5 "The Blue Feather". Watch from 20.05 to 26.40 mins.

I was very impressed with the old dear who was running away from the two detectives. The chase started off outside La Llonja and they finally caught up with her in a back street in Pollensa!!!

Wait till you see Pollensafan Running stark naked along the front completing a dare he started Many years ago with Sparky. Now that would make a 3 hour episode as it would not be very fast.
At least we could all admire the scenery. ( I SAID SCENERY )

Back to the Mallorca files.

I had a thought the other day (with my one remaining brain cell)

Perhaps we're watching it in the wrong mindset.

I remember when Batman came on TV back in the 60's
At first people thought it was dreadful, not realising it was not meant to be serious.

So on that basis, perhaps it's better to view THE Mallorca Files as a comedy.

Just a thought from an old Goat.
I now need to lay down after that to recover.
