The new broom sweeps clean !!!

Well it looks like the new mayor and council are listening to the people.
The new broom is sweeping clean...literally, there is a lorry with a tank on the back, going around the streets washing the pavements .

I have just seen a man on our road with a hand held `blower´used for blowing leaves etc into the centre of the road for the sweeper to collect. Thats good you might think, except that I live in Gotmar where the roads are dirt tracks. All he has acheived is to coat all the parked cars with a generous cover of dust.

He comes around here every day Deanscroft .
I know what you mean though, but you will eventually get your proper roads when the 5yr regeneration plan is complete .

Its good to hear that they are cleaning the streets. We love to see a nice shiny PP. But is it me, or is it well timed with a certain film being filmed locally??
