I think that if you choose to be a 'paying' Gold user then you can have multiple accounts under one email. ezboard members also reduce our costs as we pay according to the number of visits by non-members.

The Tapas Bar now has 33 members and is doing really well!

I'd love to see more PP forum members there, either long established people who have been here a while, or brand new members. It's a friendly place and EVERYONE is welcome. We love seeing new faces.

I'm hoping that it's seen as a great addition to the PP forum, where members can chat about non-PP things and have fun.

Hot topics at the moment are music (of course!), sports, latest films and the new section with useful websites.

If you have any difficulty joining, just send me a message via EZinbox and I'll do my best to help.

I Have been away for a while and returned back to Britain this week and was very surprised to see the New Tapas Bar. Is this site a successful addition to the original Puertopollensa.com?

After being away on the 'other side of the world' I looked forward to reading some witty comments however many of my old favourites have posted very little if not at all.
Hopefully with the holiday season looming this will change.

Hi flamencodancer and welcome back!

The Tapas Bar is a place where people can post messages that aren't related to PP - it replaces the original Tapas Bar (and Happy Hour) on here.

It's only been going a couple of months, but it seems to be very successful and we're always looking for new members to join. If you need any help joining, let me know as a few people have experienced some problems.

Popular topics are music, sports, holidays to other places and just general chat.

It would be great to see you there!

The new Tapas Bar has been opened since Feb, and it really is a success (is sucess 2 c's or 1 :\ ) Jane has done a fantastic job setting up the forum all by herself:eek

Ok, i,m gonna make this as least painful as possible

HOW TO REGISTER TO THE TAPAS BAR
First you,re gonna have to make a new email address, as you can only have one account per email address, so make a new email account. i chose to use hotmail, beleive me, it was very simple, (like me, some peeps might say>: ) google 'Hotmail', and create a new email address or 'sign up'
You get 3 options, choose the free one (i,m a bit of a skint flint arnt i ) choose a new email address i.e. sleepy@hotmail.co.uk (making sure its different to your other email address:rolleyes then fill in the rest of the form. easy peasy sofar:eek (keep this page open as you will need it to validate your account later)

THEN, go back to the Tapas Bar home page, and 'register your free account'. Choose either global or local account, (i choose global in this example) and then fill in all the details BUT REMEMBER TO ALTER YOU 'PREFERRED USERNAME' (sleepy2? ) AND ENTER YOUR NEW EMAIL ADDRESS!! (i,e sleepy@hotmail.co.uk or whatever) Dont forget to agree to ezboards terms of use at the end, like i just did:\ :rolleyes

Then register your global (or local) account!
Almost there (hurrah)
you will then get a email to validate your new account, but remember, it will be in your NEW email account:eek :lol
SO go back to Hotmail (or whatever email you used, i told you to will need this page later:b ) and open your new email, then click on the required link.

Hey Presto!! youve just become a member of the most sought after forum in the universe!!:lol :lol

If you still have troubs, please ez message either me or jane, stating what the problem is. i'm sure one of us will be able to sought it out .

Summers here well in PP if not UK, lots of new people on the site which is great to see, (By the way don't tell to many friends about PP we don't want it over crowded do we), back to the point, it would be great to see some of you new posters in the Tapas Bar forum, lots of the old PP site members in here talking about Music, food, TV, sport, jokes and many many other topics, even about meeting up in PP when there, why not pop in some time you will be made so welcome even by Jane who keeps us all in order or who likes to think she does.

New to Tapas Bar

Hi All,
I have just discovered the Tapas Bar although I have been a member of the PP forum for a while. It seems like a lively place! Anything happening? What's the latest bone of contention, gossip, contoversial subject? I do like a bit of controversy. Give us a subject I can argue with/agree with.
Looking foward to some lively discussions. How about:
Should the British police be allowed to go on strike?
Is Gordon Brown the right man to lead the country?
How come Heath Ledger, all of a sudden, now that he is dead, has become 'one of Hollywood's greats,' 'A great actor who will be greatly missed.' 'My all time greatest actor,'? Just a few of the sycophantic quotes coming out of Hollywood. I'd never heard of him until yesterday!
Has President Bush got a brain?
Has the FA chosen the right man to lead England to victory? Who cares?
