I am thrilled to be able to inform you that O Lume is re-opening. Have just been talking to Jaime on the phone and he told me that he signs the contract today and will open asap but it should be within the next couple of weeks, obviously he needs to draw up the menu and then get the stock in. He intends to bring back many of the old favourites...Fried milk being one of them .

Just heard it myself by a PM on Facebook from Jaime, he says: I just couldn`t be hanging around without all of you......

So we will have dinner at O'Lume when we arrive in June and in July

When we were out four weeks ago Jaime was working there and Yolanda seemed genuinely delighted to have him on her team, taking pressure off her and doing a first rate job with front of house. She gave me the impression that she expected him to have a long term future there.......so is there a little "back-stabbing" going down here?

The latest entry for O'lume (March 2013) says it is closed - I tried to post that it would be open again soon and that Jamie is back - but as this was my first post on TA it was not accepted (may be thought I was an advertiser). Could some kind person please do this for all us fans?
