I was out with a friend last night who had been in PP during half term and had visited really because I go on about it so much
She said that the weather had really spoilt their stay and she probably wouldn't go back she also remarked on how the weather was the topic of conversation in all the restaurants they visited with people saying it was the coldest week they had ever experienced during May.

I think if your friend did some research they would see that the whole of Europe was bad that week some places allot worse than we had in PP. I hope they give it another try the weather gods can be cruel

Was also out half-term (plus the following week) and the weather, although somewhat cool for some of the time, was certainly not 'bad'. Two years ago we had torrential rain / thunderstorms and there was certainly none of that. The cool days certainly did NOT spoil our time in P.P., such a beautiful resort and lots of places to go other than the beach (for instance). For cool days / evenings a 'cardi' for ladies and a light jacket for 'gents' was certainly enough to keep warm, I thought. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will certainly visit again; still something about P.P. after many years of visits.
