Can I make a suggestion for the title of this thread, it says:

The weather now in PP - 2013 (2nd Quarter)

People using google to research their holiday destinations dont search for ' weather in PP' they would search for 'weather port pollensa' or 'port pollensa weather in april" etc.

so maybe call it

The weather now in Port Pollensa - 2013 (2nd Quarter)

and then occasionally mention the month in your reports so google finds it for example.

Today the 18th April is another sunny day in Port Pollensa.
The pressure is 1018.
The humidity is 72%.
The UV index is 7.
The temperature is 19c in the shade and 19.7c in the sun.
Yesterdays low was 15c and the high was 29c.

Don't overdo it as that's keyword spamming ;), just occasionally mention the date and month so people can find the forum in google searches which is better for everyone, especially the advertisers that pay to keep the site going.

Mark thanks for the feedback, i have changed the title of the thread but i won't be changing anything else. At the suggestion of another member I have recently broken it down into quarters which i feel is enough and works well, the dates are always at the top of the posts so it's not too difficult to just scroll through a few pages :).

I just did a google search for " the weather now in puerto pollensa" and the second listing took me to our main website page which also has a link to the forum so i really think we have it covered ;).

Yellow alert for coastal phenomena!!!.

Bon dia amigos. A bit more cloud about today but the sun is burning it off, the NE wind is due to strengthen and there is a yellow alert for CP :).
The pressure is 1017.
The humidity is 72%.
The UV index is 7.
The temperature is 18c in the shade and 19.4c in the sun.

What was that 'pea souper' about last night!?

It was like something out of a Jeckyl and Hyde film. Really quite eerie :eek:

It was clear here in the center.............i think ......i had a few large vinos so i was in a bit of a fog anyway ;);).

Lol :D Well I may have had a couple but I'm sticking to my story... It was like James Herbert's The Fog in Pinaret.

Yes debz you are right,it was out on the horizon of the bay and also you could see the fog lying over the boquer valley. It was a sea fret caused by the differential of temperature between the land and the sea or so my OH tells me.

Can I ask, what is CP? Or is it better that I don't know? I'm already getting nervous about the flight/weather.

It's Coastal Phenomena, basically it means it's going to be a bit rough in the sea. I have to say the wind has been quite strong and cold tonight and a jacket/cardi has been needed :(.
