Me and my family are here in PP. We arrived on 4 May and are leaving on Saturday 18th. We have had wall to wall sunshine for 11 days and the temperatures reaching 30 degrees. It was forcast to rain today, but we only had a couple of spots and it has been warm. Fingers crossed you may be lucky. Hope its kind to you

Don't worry too much ....we have had two beautiful days, two overcast one of them rather windy but it is so good to be here.....and much better than the weather at home at the moment!!

Hola amigos. We had a bit of a thunderstorm and heavy rain last night, this morning it is quite dull, cloudy and breezy but the sun is trying hard to come out. There is a yellow alert again for today and tomorrow with storms forecast for tomorrow night into Saturday morning.

The UV index is 7.
The temperature is 17.5c.

May half term

Hi there
We are visiting during half term (25 may) and I notice that the weather forecast for next week remains pretty unsettled... Based on past years is it pretty unlikely the unsettled period would last into half term week? It's our one week of sunshine abroad this yr so a little nervous about it! Many thanks

Pollensasarah, hello and welcome to the forum.
Early May can be very unsettled but it usually settles by mid month, unfortunately that's not been the case this year , i have just had a look at a couple of extended forecasts and the last week of the month is looking much better................fingers crossed .

Thank you very much- I wasn't sure how much store to hold in the forecasts for a week ahead but you'd think the unsettled period wouldn't last more than a week!

May Half Term

Hi Pollensasarah

We came to PP last year for 10 days over half term and the weather was sublime. There was barely a cloud in the sky and the evenings were lovely and warm. We loved it so much we're coming again on the 29th May for another 10 days. Hope this makes you feel a little better!

Don't want to put a dampener ( bad pun) on the positive vibe but we came two years ago for May half term and it rained and stormed non stop! We flew home from Palma with the most amazing thunder storm shaking the aircraft. But I'm sure it'll be lovely this year. Fingers crossed for you all. I believe we have more snow forecast over here.

We were there that year too! But..... we have been every other May half term and have had glorious weather.
You can never guarantee but I love this half term holiday more than any of the other times we come during the year.
