We're staying outside Inca at the moment and it's seriously hot here. Is this unusually warm for Mallorca, or just normal summer weather?

We're normally here in spring time so didn't know quite what to expect. We've barely seen a single cloud all week, just glad we have a pool at the villa, lots of water to drink and somewhere shady to sit.

Hola, bon dia amigos. We have a little bit of fine cloud but it's still hot and sunny with a S breeze . The orange alert will decrease to yellow tomorrow and from Monday the temps will be a little lower...... hopefully

This is the worst time of the year for me Ragdollabbi, there is no escaping the heat. You have a shower and 2 minutes later you need another one, even in areas with full aircon after 15 minutes you start to sweat and can't really feel the benefit of it unless you go outside for a few seconds and that then feels like you are walking into an oven.
How these people can work in this amazes me, especially in the kitchens .

I can sympathise with you Sparky as we have just returned on Thursday and some days it was just too hot to do anything!! In saying that we are never happy with the weather are we....it's either too hot, too cold, too wet, too dry I for one, certainly could not work in those temperatures especially as you say, in a kitchen

Temperatures in the low 30s are warm enough for me and I'm keeping my fingers (and everything else) crossed for dry sunny weather for October (10th - 18th)....get working on it Sparky

Yes! you loose the sea breeze which keeps it slightly cooler at the port, that saying, depending on where you are staying you may be lucky at catch the breeze as it comes along through the mountains.
