Nice to see a shout from bigandyg for El Cano - used to be a fav of ours. If you like fondue - try it.

GG :)

1; Tex Mex in the square

2: Tex Mex near the pinewalk

3: Tex mex on the seafront

LOL! Whats the equivalent of "wash your mouth out" on a key board! Joking ofcourse before we start another debate!

Yes very funny, but can we please get back on topic now. IE:-
Your Top 3 restaurants in PP 2010.
Thanks for your co-operation :).

Sorry, is the thread that difficult, TOP 3 RESTAURANTS IN PUERTO POLLENSA. I know there is lot's of good restaurant's, but the reason for this is too find the top 3 not 33. Just pick your top 3 for whatever reason.

ikabana is in PP, is that the one you're referring to?

Well for the Fussies it would have to be Mr Fussie

Can Cuarassa
O'Lume
Los Zarzales

Mrs Fussie would opt for
Can Cuarassa
O'lume
Tribeca

And finally Ms Fussie
Al Fresco
O'Lume
Can Cuarassa

OK Al Fresco is not strictly a restaurant but she likes it and was devastated to hear it was for sale. So much she has opted not to come over this summer.
Maybe O'lume will move up the rankings this year with the new location.

Its very interesting reading so far 44 restaurants have been voted for in

1st = Place is O'Lume with 31 points up from = 3rd
1st = Place is Stay with 31 points up from = 3rd
3rd Place Place is El Posito with 27 points down from 1st
4th Place is Tangos with 25 points
5th Place is C'an Josep with 18 points

Keep the votes coming

1. Stay
2.O'lume
3.Los Zarzales

El Posito best for lunch. Nacientes for evening ambience. Guru best for pizzas. Bodega Martin for local charm.

Actually, there's a lot that's good there, isn't there?

Top 3
Can Ferra for Majorcan atmosphere, Arroz Brut delicious, great value!
Neptuno for tapas and atmosphere, especially when locals are in!
Maxims in the square for a spot of people watching, good food.
Have tried others but these remain our top 3.

Hi

No Snowy, not dried up in my mind anyway. think about it daily :)

Really difficult to pin it down to 3 as so many good ones.
Thing is are we talking top for food, top for ambience or top for VFM etc ?
Could be split in to so many sub categories its hard to come up with a top 3.
Nice idea by MWS to come up with a top 3 but my choices vary from day to
day if you understand, depends on what you are wanting on that day.
Could I suggest opening things up a little by say voting for a top 5 in some
different headings eg. top for breakfast/lunch/dinner and different budgets eg
£/££/£££/££££/£££££ ? Just an idea,I dont want to spoil this thread as it was
not mine in the first place but thought it might throw a few more names in to
the hat. You can use my pointy one if you like

Back to top 3 overall :- (in no order)

Stay
Los Z
Fortelesa

But that could have changed by lunchtime to:-

Guru
Iru
Neptune

Happy to start a new thread on this if anyone interested ?
But don`t want to step on this one. :o

Thanks for reading

The Wizzard :D

Interesting, I bet if we start this thread again in September, most peoples top 3 will have changed again due to another visit, trying new restaurants etc. Maybe we should roll this out until 30th September & start again just to see how people/restaurants have changed.

Saint Malo in Pollensa town - a french bistro, run by owners of Es Moli. Been about 6 times now and it is excellent all round - lovely fresh blue marine style decor, atentive friendly staff, heavenly food and even the price is good. 11.50 lunchtime menu and about 18 in evening if I recall. Definatley a new one to try this year - enjoy. I am sure it will be on lots of peoples lists.

Woops before someone tells me off for not voting for three I guess as of today my votes would be
1. La Llonja/Can Cuarrassa
2. Sant Malo
3. Guru.
I agree that maybe 2 or 3 categories would be easier as I have 3 favs for a special evening with my man and 3 favs for a more casual evening with kids or friends. or of course another 3 for quick menu del dia lunch. Also choices change summer or winter venues. . . .terraces against open fireplaces. sorry to confuse even more but it is true.
