Very disappointed

I would like to apologise if at any time my comments appeared to be libellous. At all times all I have quoted are facts but I do accept it is the company's word against mine. I have washed my hands of this incident as life must go on but I just wanted to warn other people to be very cautious when booking accommodation over the internet. To my cost I have found out that unless you book with a reputable company who are ABTA bonded or by booking through a reputable package company you could find that you would not be covered if anything goes wrong with your holiday/accommodation. My gripe is that after months of planning within thirty minutes of landing in Majorca my weeks holiday with my lovely family was ruined never to be compensated for.

I did not get to read the deleted post, but I do agree it is worth while reminding ourselves of the dangers that can happen with what appears to be quick and cheap holiday bookings. I feel sorry for you with your ruined holiday and appreciate the reminder for us all to be aware. Your next one will be fantastic Im sure!!

Hi Snowy,

I think there are many reputable travel agents operating in and around PP but this particular companys reputation is continualy poor and has upset and disappointed many people in the past. I personaly know of at least one occasion when they have offered accommodation to a client that they had no right to be offering and when the accommodation inevitably fell through they then offered an unacceptable alternative coming out with some excuse about a water leak in the original villa.
I know we have to be carefull regarding comments on the forum but we also have a duty to help unsuspecting potential clients of this company to avoid the disasterous effect of a ruined holiday.
Finally virtually all if not all of the accommodation offered by this company can be booked independentley and cheaper on this very web site, just look in villas/appartments to rent.

I missed the post, is it exceptable just to name the company involved? Hope its not Mallorca Luxury Resort who we book with and who we haven't had any problems with!
