Intend to do this walk next week so will need to leave my car in the town and get the bus up to Llluc. Does anyone know where in Pollenca Town the bus picks up please?

From memory, I recall that the bus doesn't go into the town, it runs along the top road from PP and CSV then follows the Lluc road to the North of Pollenca. I am pretty sure there is a stop by the roundabout, just by that little one way system. When we used it from PP we got a timetable from the tourist office by the Port and that had the stops on it.

There is definately a stop in PP at the main roundabout, the bus leaves daily at 1000. As Tonsyl says though, don't think it stops in Pollensa.

Hope you manage to do the walk, please let us know how you went on. Hope it's not along the road though, this could be a bit scary with all the hairpin bends.

You could park in the layby infront of the cafe Oelek and there is a bus stop nearby or get on the bus at the Habitat and then pick it up again for your return, leaving the car at home.

Hi ,

We are hoping to do this walk in October. Does anyone have the bus timetable? Is it still 10am and did anyone find out exactly where the bus stop is? Pollensa or PP

There are 4 of us, would it be cheaper just to get a taxi?

Any info on the walk welcome.

This is a pretty and easy walk downhill!......not on the main road at all.

We did this walk last week. Cought the bus at 10.05 from the end of Cami de Ternelles, on the main road to Lluc. 2euros one way to LLuc.
The walk is easy enough, we had our 11 year old with us who found it easy. The initial walk is on a slight incline but most of the walk is down hill or flat. The views are amazing. It took us 4 1/2 hours including a 1/2 hour picnic stop and the usual stops for photos etc!! We passed a number of walkers doing the up hill version, that must be somewhat harder and we intend to challenge ourselves next time but not on a hot day. I had expected to walk on the main road more than we did which was a pleasant surprise. A super walk but make sure you have comfy, supportive footwear!

Is the route well signed? Mr Cat or is it small piles of stones & guesswork, any interesting vistas etc?

HI Cumberland, It's Mrs Cat by the way!
The walk is really easy to follow, no cairns or dots!
The vistas are amazing, well trod paths and country roads. We started with a guide book but soon put it away as not needed. To access the path take to road from the car park/bus stop as if going back to Pollensa, take a left on to a path network (signed Es Camel) and then right onto a football pitch. Cross the pitch to the far left corner and then though the broken fence. You are then on the old cami de Lluc. Follow this cobbled road up hill until you meet the main road. Turn left on the main road for 100 m approx. then take the right access road marked MENUT. follow this road, when at the Finca bear left through a gate on the road. When you get to the Binifaldo education centre take the left path and hey presto you wont need directions from here, just keep walking and follow the signs. Try to walk it on a clear day for the best views.

Many thanks for your help it is very much appreciated,as a result The Cumberlands will hopefully negotiate this walk in the spring.
