Walk to Cala St Vicente

I went to walk across from PP to CSvC a couple of weeks ago using the pass behind Las Palmeras but that the gates were fully chained shut and the house behind the gates that you used to walk by had dogs running around.

Does anybody know if this route is now 'officially' blocked or if it is anything to do with hunting season? The signs were still showing that this was a walking route?

A shame as it was a nice walk to Cala St Vicente followed by a snack at the marina cafe and a beer.

I certainly hope it's not closed off but I believe there have been issues before with the gate?

One of my favourite walks that and I hope to be doing it soon. Maybe someone can shed some light on it.

Gates wide open last week,sometimes the chain is on but when close up you push them & A gap appears to walk through.
The only problem envisaged is the removal of the wooden sign from the road directing you to the walk ,apparently a local keeps taking them to deter people ,this is why the sign was embedded in the rock wall in metal.
