Just to add to Sparkys statement about the rain yesterday. We were coming back home from a shopping expedition (!) in Inca and found ourselves driving into the rain. As we came up to the Artisans roundabout I could see what looked like white lines in the sky. Visibility was so poor that what I was really seeing was the sudden waterfalls appearing down the mountainside of the La Font area!
We decided to do a bit of an exploration and turned off into La Font and get a few photos by winding down the window and sticking the camera out to take photos of the water pouring down the mountain, rushing through the villa gardens then streaming down the road. We decided to turn round before we got waterlogged ourselves, and we only just beat the flooding of the road!
We then decided to go to the Pont Roma and managed to photograph the red river running under the bridge - well, hubby did, I stayed in the car as the rain was torrential!
It had stopped by 3.15 and although chilly, the sun came back out and the waiter at Brisas Marina couldnt believe the photos had been taken just 10 minutes before!
What an island of diversity!

Bon dia amigos, it is very cloudy this morning and 16c but feeling colder as the wind is starting to pick up. There is a weather alert for heavy rain and strong SW winds here today, i will keep you all updated as the day goes on but it is dry at the moment.

Bon dia amigos, we have had some heavy rain overnight and although it is dry this morning it looks like there is more on the way. It's very windy and 12c but feeling much lower.

Bon dia amigos, after a very windy and wet night this morning is dry with plenty of sunshine although there are some dark clouds around. The wind is still very high and the temperature is 14c but it feels more like 8c.

Bon dia amigos, we have a grey, damp start to the day. There is little wind at the moment and the temperature is 15c.

Bon dia amigos, we had a few hours of quite heavy rain, wind and thunder yesterday afternoon.
This morning it's cloudy but fairly bright, very windy and 14c.

LOL @ Whaley, the last time i saw snow was in northern Spain last year when we were driving down to Mallorca and that was the first snow i had seen in many years. Plymouth rarely gets frost let alone snow, so no i don't miss it .

We have had a few flakes here at the farmhouse, and we are at just 790feet above sea level. Looking west, Goat Fell, on the island of Arran has had a dusting. Further north, there have been the first of the winter road closures due to snow.
So its log fire on and cosy in ! lol

Bon dia amigos, we have warm sunshine and a gentle breeze this morning, the temperature is 16c and rising.

SWS, Mr Sparky put shoes on last night and after an hour was complaining that his feet were too hot
