Wow.....very low cloud but I believe it was very, very warm today, 25c as reported by our weather girl....Oh! that heat must have been wonderful.:)

Blobs are definitely bigger now - it's GOT to be raindrops dripping from a cover or being blown on to the camera. Not complaining, at least we have a live feed! :)

Bella,

Do you think I'm not smart enough not to teach my budgies to spit ??

BonysLad ;);)

Hi all

I might be thick I know..........can't even get the Stay webcam to work !!

It goes on about this "Axis" thing and IE.

Can anyone give me a step-by-step idiots guide as how to rectify it please?

i.e. - do this, then that, then this etc....................if that makes sense to anyone of course!!!

Gracias

Oh,and by the way, as soon as it comes up it crashes my whole computer......aaaargh......

eventually got reconnected after a bit of googling

Go to axis.com and click on downloads. You might have to register your name. After the registration is over click on Software Tools in the right pane and download Axis Media Control. This needs to install a windows media control and then install the Axis software.

as long as a valid email address is entered, it seems ok to put anything in 'required fields', & you can opt out of marketing , updates, etc

so enjoying a sunny Sunday view

Here you go! :)

The Stay webcam is amazing, it looks lovely this evening, we are spoilt to have a webcam with a good view at night. It makes me long for those lovely dinners at stay on a warm summers evening........

I have just checked out the Stay webcam and it looks really cloudy and black, but when I tried the new S&S page it looks nearly cloudless! I am very confused!!

Rosie i can assure you that the Stay webcam is showing it as it is, cloudy and windy.:)

Thanks Sparky - but it is strange isnt it! Stay is not that far away from S&S and yet the weather looks completely different. Just checked the Stay one again and its dark and cloudy as far as you can see. Weird!

Rosie,
Are you sure you are getting "live feed" on S&S, i have just looked and although there is a smallish area of blue sky, it is mostly cloudy. I admit the clouds don't look as dark as on the Stay cam but that could just be the fact that the cameras are looking in different directions.

Oh dear looks like there's a storm a brewing

The sort of PP day when tea, chocolate and bed is the only solution! ;)

 got it working on the iPhone now as well, definitely looks darker on the Stay one compared to the SS one, but a great view nether the less

What a gorgeous morning there today, speaking of webcams does anyone know what happened to the BHI one, last we heard they were going to up grade it weren't they?

No SWS i haven't heard anything.
The view from the Stay cam is good because you can see how busy the port is getting by the amount of traffic going along the road ;), i see they still haven't wiped off Bella's Blobs though .

Mmm. Definitely finger marks then. "Bellas Blobs"!! I'm not taking credit for that one - it was Pollensafan I believe who first spotted those - not my blobs, the fingermarks!
Beautiful to see the blue sky this morning with the fluffy white clouds and a splash of colour with the Sail boards up.:)

But you have to admit "Bella's Blobs" sounds better than Pollensafan's Fingermarks". :D

Yes Sparky,

Hands off Bella's Blobs, thats my job cleaning em !!!

But it will have to wait til I'm out in a couple of weeks.

BonysLad :D:D

looks a far better day there than here , urrrghhhh !!!!

Bellas blobs will be difficult to clean off I fear, it looks like it is on top of roof so they may not get around to it anytime soon. Just to be boring for a bit, the installation looks the same as ours at work installed by Axis communications, if it is the same as ours it will be inside a dome so the marks are on that and not the lens, which is why you also get flaring like now and sometimes you can even see a reflection of the camera in the dome. :)
