Wedding Anniversary

We have been holidaying in PP for the last 10 years with our first visit of the year always being in May. For the first time we will actually be in PP on the day of our 18th wedding anniversary We usually arrive just after and hubby and I go out for dinner. As O'Lume is no more we were thinking about trying Stay. Heard lots of good things on the forum. Would we need to book?

Hello and congratulations on your soon to be wedding anniversary. Stay is very nice in my opinion. We went for my --th birthday(!) February just gone and booked for then. Even in February there were quite a few people there.

I would personally advise to book to avoid disappointment just in case. Also, according to the manager, booking will give you best chance for a table next to the windows for a sea view.

we celebrated our 34th anniversary at Stay last year and yes I booked -2 days before- and they were just lovely. Had a table on terrace overlooking the harbour, food realy lovely. Bit more expensive than some but so special -worth every penny.

We usually visit PP in Sept, and that happens to coincide with our wedding anniversary. We've enjoyed many such an anniversary meal at Stay; that's where we always go.

Definitely book in advance, as early as you can and in person IMO; that does get one of the best tables. At time of booking we always ask for an outside table near to the water.

An extra thought - when booking, just mention that it's your wedding anniversary so you would like a good table. If you do that, as well getting a good table, there's a chance you will receive a pleasant surprise when dessert is served.
