Brilliant photos Simon :)

It was just me and my 9 year old son so we had a great father and son holiday.

That's fantastic and so important.

I dont really have any childhood memories of family holidays, there where some apparently when I was a very young, none that I really remember. (family problems)

Excellent photos to be proud of :)

Mark.

Lovely pictures, Simon. I particularly like the one with your son reading on the beach, unaware that his picture is being taken. Going on Tuesday with my wife and son who is a few years older than yours, but we will be doing the same sort of things. These photos have really got us in the mood even more. The tapas restaurant on the Pine Walk was the first place we ever ate in PP. Great to see a nice positive post after much negativism recently.

Thanks all, glad you like the photos.

Actually PaulB, he was was very aware that I was taking his photo and was trying his best to ignore me!

And Mark, I am trying my best that after me and his mum split 4 years ago that he gets at least one great holiday a year with me. And hopefully I've succeeded.

Have some more photos for good measure:

Fab pics Simon.......and of course what better place is there to be than PP.
So glad you had a wonderful holiday.

What lovely photos Simon, I've been looking at them with much excitement as I'm off to PP this coming Thursday with my children for the first time in 7 years. Quite how much relaxation I'll get is questionable with 5 children in tow- but here's hoping!

Thanks all. Glad you liked my photos. Unfortunately I posted them too large so I've reduced the size of each one. If you want to see any of them larger simply click on the image and you'll be taken to flickr. Once there if you click on "all sizes" you can see a larger version.

Ceecee - blimey, 5 kids!! Good luck! Although as you'll be in PP you'll have a lovely time I'm sure.

Hi again!

Yep , even with 5 kids I'm still expecting some Rest and Relaxation in PP! I'm seriously expecting the 3 little ones will be tired out with lots of fresh air and activity, and ever hopeful that their two big sisters (17 and 19) will offer to babysit... :)

I thought I'd update my thread with a panorama that I have just put together of the view from the harbour at Formentor. I think this sums up just how beautiful Formentor is, hopefully you will agree. You can see the panorama by clicking on this link (once it has loaded, click and drag the image to explore!):

Oh No! It didn't work for me!
I got a blank black page! Not sure why perhaps its because I have an Apple Mac??
That always seems to be what 'm told by windows people!!

Any suggestions anyone? - I would love to see the photos.

Just amazing ...................... thank you so so much for making this and posting the link ....... absolutely love it

Oh - it must be my computer - have tried again goes to a page with small print telling me to download. Then just big black page!

Sorry Eleanor, I can't help, not very good with computers at the best of times!

Thanks all, glad that all of you who could see the panorama like it!

eleanor - I am really sorry you can't see it. The only reason I can think of why you might not be able to see it is that your computer might not have the most up to date flash player installed. Click on this link, click "Agree and install now" and then follow the instructions:

Install Flash Player

If that doesn't work you might be able to view it on my blog here:

My blog

Opps elanor - just noticed you have a mac. In that case you will have to ignore the link to install the flash player above as that is for Windows. You will need to select your mac operating system from the link on this link and then install it from there:

Flash for mac

Simon, thank you so very much for your help here. I downloaded Flash for Mac as you suggested and bingo!

The photographs are wonderful Simon. What a beautiful place! Every time I visit I see the place differently. Thank you for sharing your holiday and lovely photos with us and thanks again for your help.
