At least two people have been arrested in the last hours in connection with the ax murder of an elderly man in his home earlier this year Pollença. Among those arrested for the death of Llorenç Colom, 84 , is his brother, who from the beginning focused researchers suspected.
The detainees were transferred to units of the Civil Guard Pollença, where they were last night waiting to go to court to testify. agents did not rule out more arrests.

Neither his family threw nothing missing and although there was some disorder, researchers believe that either was the usual condition of the house or the murderer tried to pretend that the crime was the work of a thief.
Murder planned
All indications pointed from the beginning that the murder was planned and that the only goal of the attacker was to end the life of Colom. One aspect that caught the attention of the Civil Guard was that the breaker box electrical housing was dropped. Researchers are convinced that was the perpetrator who cut the supply of light. Though not the main door of the house and the windows were enforced, the agents in charge of the case do not believe it was the victim who left to enter his murderer. Apparently, the old man used to leave open the door of his house during the day.
The autopsy confirmed that the murderer took umbrage with the victim. Llorenç Colom received at least seven ax , several of them fatal necessity, which caused his death almost instantly.
