having decided on puerto pollensa as our next holiday destination the question is which accomodation. there will be two 77 year olds 2 40 year olds and an active 5 year old who must have kids around her anyone got any ideas?

If you go in the Summer there will always be plenty of kids about especially on the beach. For children I would suggest the Puerto Azul but since you have grandparents too, you may be better off choosing one along the front so that they can sit out in front & just watch the world go by. The central area is pedestrianised so adults can sit in cafes watching their kids on the beach. Hotels such as the Daina have a pool over on the beach.

thanks weve booked for the puerto azul, the oldies like to walk along the sea front, now what about car hire weve been offered a seat for £143 for a week in may/june is that competitive?:rollin

I visited puerto pollensa for the first time last year and would like to return, when i was on beach i remember seeing apartments with large verandahs over top of restaurants looking over the sea, does anyone know they are let out by? please help

Where to stay

Try the website www.pollensapines.co.uk which I think will give the names of most of the apartments over the restaurants facing the central marina area. You can then put the apartment names into your browser (Apartment Minis Majorca - is one of them) and see who else is an agent for them and which can offer you the best price. As rentals do vary from company to company.
