Wine fair in Consell

The autumn fair will take place on Sunday 23.

Every Sunday morning, lots of people visit Consell, attracted by the second hand market called "Els Encants" or "Es Rastro", that takes place weekly on the outskirts of the town. But on the coming Sunday 23rd the number of visitors will increase due to the celebration of the autumn fair "IX Fira de Tardor" and the wine fair "III Fira del Vi", dedicated to Mallorcan wines.

Consell is on the main route to Puerto Pollensa from Palma just south of Inca.

And be sure to book your flights for the 3rd Pollensa Wine Fair which will be held the weekend after Easter. It was excellent last year (some of you may have read my posting?) with over 50 Mallorcan cellars showing and allowing us to taste their wines. Roll on April . . . .
Also with regards to Annual Fairs, it is that time of year now, well of course our BIG ONE is coming up next month here in Pollensa on the 12,13 and 14th November and well worth popping over for.
Also there are 3 Sunday fairs in Inca on 23/10, 30/10 and 6/11- The 2nd one is car, bikes and thoroughbred horse displays and the final one will be the popular medievel market prior to the Dijou Bo the 3rd Thursday in November.

Thanks for the tip re. the Pollensa wine fair - do you happen to know the exact date by any chance? I'm coming over around Easter but don't know the dates yet.

Yes, sorry for the delay in replying. The Fair will be held on the 22nd and 23rd April which should be the weekend after Easter. Hope you will be here for then as it was excellent last year and they hope to improve on that!! Jan
