I've just ordered some new internals for my woodburner getting ready for winter and I'm hoping to do a bit of upgrading around the old shed next week.

Does anyone know a decent local company who can make me a couple of double glazed windows?

(thanks for the edit Sparky!)

Let’s hope Greta Thunberg does read the forum! LOL

Double glazed windows for a Log burner?? Isn't that rather defeating the object of them?

The woodburner doesn't have any windows at all. Its one of those traditional scandinavian ones.

I'm still amazed how drafty most Spanish homes are though. It's like draft excluders were never invented... and I've got one of those naf old louvered windows in the kitchen which is just a joke

Oh....lol, sorry! :)

I'd hate to have a log burner with no window, thats half of the benefit, watching the flames. Ive got a double sided one at home, but bought an electric one for PP, as I reckon the wood is going to be expensive out there. Ive actually got double glazed windows in PP, albeit with a tiny gap. Being a town house though, the warm air goes straight up the stairs to the top floor which is a pain.

We've used Vidres Gama, Carrer del Pare Vives, 63, 07460 Pollença +34 971 53 38 59 for windows in the past. Good quality work and fair price.
