How accurate is the 14 day weather forecast

We are heading out on the 9th October and weather not looking too good in a fortnights time.Are the long range forecasts accurate?

I take long range forecasts with a big pinch of salt .

The best you can ever hope for is a couple of days in advance . We are an Island remember, so lots of factors determine the weather. One things for sure a bad day in PP is always better than a good day in UK

AS accurate as they r in the UK !!!!! Or when they tell you we will have a great summer and it rains or a cold winter and it is the mildest on record !!

People who do the weather say 5 days accuracy at the outside so 2 weeks no chance !!

Just ignore it. It's a complete waste of time. Take it as it comes.

It does change all the time. I've just checked 3 or 4 different sites and they all forecast quite pleasant weather from the 9th onwards. Rain is forecast for just one day that week, but due to clear up again thereafter

In reality the forecast is 'the forecast' and as others have said things can and probably will change over the next couple of weeks. If you are booked and intend to go to PP 'what will be, will be' as they say.
Even here in the jolly old British Isles the BBC forecast / updates changes on almost a daily basis and it will be no different in the Balearic Isles.
Hope you enjoy your hols in PP, I'm sure you will get at least 'some' good weather. Look upon lots of sunshine as a bonus, at least there's more chance of sun than in the U.K.
