For any of you who drive to Pollensa and used to park along side the road that leads past the old disused factory, they have been working on this road through the winter, pictures on FB, and now there is no parking there, a new pavement has been installed, and hopefully a new road surface as we use that way to cycle into the town.

Hello
We are staying near Pollensa Old Town. We want to drive to PP. Where is the best, least complicated place for us to park? We don't mind being a few blocks back away from the beach. If anyone could guide us in with a good description from the MA2200 to a simple place to park we would really appreciate it.
Thank you

There is a large car park just off the MA 2200. You approach the Port from Pollensa and turn left at the Euroski roundabout (AKA The Airplane Roundabout) - ie take the 3rd exit. Pop into the service lane and take the 4th road on the right into Carrer Tramuntana. Mind the one way system. It's actually off the next roundabout along from Euroski but I find that it is a bit tricky, nay dangerous, turning right across the service lane. The car park is immediately on your left. I will just double check on Google maps and edit. (Yes that's where it is). You then walk straight down to the sea from here maybe 300 metres. I would recommend driving it on Google maps if you have a computer just to be sure. Hope this makes sense.

May we ask what is your reason for driving to Puerto Pollensa ?.

If it's to go to the beach I think there may be better alternatives.

Maybe Sally is staying in a rural villa near the old town and she would need to drive to the beach. What would be the better alternative?

Sally there a lots of parking spaces in the residential roads just off the sea front by south sandy beach (free) and Parking metres in the town near Pine Walk.

Thanks Yorkie, is that car park free?
Debz1 thank you, how would I get to those residential roads near the south sandy beach?
Need to go to suss out where we can go w the 2 children that won't cost us a fortune re beds&brollie areas!

If you go right at the areoplane roundabout and head towards Gotmar on the bypass, you can go down the first or second turning on the left which will take you down to the beach through the residential areas with lots of free parking, and the beach is the better one here with beds but lots of wide open spaces

I'm sorry to say I don't know if it is free or not. We have our own place on Mendez Nunez so we park by the school and have never used this car park. I just drive past it. The beds on this bit of beach are very dear 22 euros for 2 beds and a brolly. I would Take Debz1's advice as the beaches are very nice there.

Thank you all drove to the car park tonight and it was free! Lots of spaces around 6 but full when we left at 8:30.
