Still know where I would rather be. Sun, sea, sand, pool, great bars and restaurants. Roll on next Friday!!!! :)

bad thunderstorms back home, 28c and sweltering in Milan

When I came to PP in December, it sleeted in the town with impressive snow in the hills. In April, the weather was OK but both times it was much warmer and sunnier in London.

Take this as a warning, I'm coming out there next week so wrap up warm; I am the PP weather albatross!

Me too and I was just wondering whether to pack a woolly fleece:D

I was in P during december, january and march into april.

December was wet/sleet. Same in UK
January was sunny and warm hitting 17-18 some days. UK was 2-3°C when I got home.
March-April was only a touch warmer than January and stayed dry. UK was wet the whole time I was away.

Not sure what June holds but I'm not a hot weather type of guy so dont mind if it stays cool so I can carry on hiking and pedalling.

August - I'm going to be in trouble I reckon. I'll look forward to September -October.

Maybe I should seasonal let the house June - August....

I came out for a couple of days in Oct '17 and PP lured us in with such stunning weather, we bought a house! When we returned in early Dec, after securing the house, we got soaked running from the Goleta to Stay (really soaked!) and it snowed in the mountains.

Then I came out end Dec/ beginning Jan and on one day it hit 23 degs...and was mostly very nice weather. Returned in late March and a storm blew in and it was very cold and very wet and miserable. The last trip was two weeks ago and it was lovely.

So the upshot is.......don't rely on the weather! :)

We seem to be in the grip of some PP weather in old blighty at the moment.

Mind you, that is where any comparisons start and finish.:)

We've got some really serious moorland fires near us. Talk of bringing the military in.

Two fire planes trained and on stanby in the Port.
could be with you in 4 hours.Have you got some large lakes local???

32 degrees in Glasgow today!!!!!!!Phew😰

29 degrees here in Cheshire today. And not far away on Saddleworth Moor (Tameside) the fire brigade have been battling wild fires, which have been raging for 3 days, with homes being evacuated. Now the military have been called in. May God be with them to get them under control, as no rain is forecast for at least the next week!

Lots of water around our area Roy and Myra.
Fire brigade say at the moment it's under control. We live a couple of miles away and we can still smell the smoke. Our daughter lives even nearer than us.

At 17:07 (BST) it was warmer in London than in PP!

Don't worry, I suspect it will be May 2019 before it is as warm again in London!

It's freezing here in the Midlands. Sunny but cold. Still much prefer a damp but warmer Mallorca. It doesn't rain all the time.

Its cold wet and miserable in Glasgow

so I thought I would yu tube Puerto Pollensa to cheer myself up. I could actually feel the heat and that great feeling you get just sitting with a wee drink as night falls whilst gazing out to sea.

Roll on summer !

Scotslizzy
