I am suffering from heat rash just thinking about what happened. Two BBQ's in one weekend. Out to PP on saturday for more sunshine and hopefully back home to a brilliant summer! (I wish).

We've also had floods with roads and homes flooded, bridges washed away and marble sized hail stones in North Yorkshire

There's also been storms and flooding where we live, in Cheshire, with the main road to Manchester airport flooded and closed for days. Fortunately, we escaped before the floods and are in the sunny Algarve! Just hope the road is open before we fly back at the weekend!

Thanks Copper. Since my report, have received pictures from our neighbour of our flooded garden and patio - just inches from entering the house through patio doors! Now really worried! But neighbour has a key and keeping an eye on developments. Never been that bad in 40 years we have lived there, and of course has to be whilst we are away

It been truly horrible for days here in Lancaster with local flooding. Escaping to PP in one week’s time and cannot wait to get away from here!
