Yep, lovely up here in Lancaster.....just lit the Barbie. Sorry!

Think I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I'd prefer a rainy, blustery day in PP than a blazing hot day here in the UK..

I heard that those in Glasgow and to the north of there were ringing the authorities reporting a bright dazzling light in the sky theyd never experienced before!!

I don't see anyone bigging up the weather in the UK this weekend. Normal service has been resumed ..

Spot on El Gordo,

I am suffering from heat rash just thinking about what happened. Two BBQ's in one weekend. Out to PP on saturday for more sunshine and hopefully back home to a brilliant summer! (I wish).

Cheers,

Jimbo

Hola y buenos días Sparky.

It's hailstones here at the moment with a possibility of sleet and freezing, zeros conditions later here in bonnie Scotland.

Cheers,

Jimbo

Feel your pain Jimbo Got the heating back on full blast tonight in Weegie land

Hola y buenos días mis amigos. It's sunny with an NE wind :D.

The pressure is 1018.
The UV index is 9.
The humidity is 50%.
The temperature is 27.7c in the shade and 29c in the sun.
The forecast for tomorrow is for sun and cloud.
Yesterday's low was 24.3c and the high was 30.9c

Envious !!!

Forecast for Thunderstorms here today :(
We've also had floods with roads and homes flooded, bridges washed away and marble sized hail stones in North Yorkshire
Roll on Autumn!!

There's also been storms and flooding where we live, in Cheshire, with the main road to Manchester airport flooded and closed for days. Fortunately, we escaped before the floods and are in the sunny Algarve! Just hope the road is open before we fly back at the weekend!

Sorry to hear about the floods Very strange weather everywhere

Hope you get home safely with no delays Millipet

Thanks Copper. Since my report, have received pictures from our neighbour of our flooded garden and patio - just inches from entering the house through patio doors! Now really worried! But neighbour has a key and keeping an eye on developments. Never been that bad in 40 years we have lived there, and of course has to be whilst we are away😱

I hope Whaley Wonderer doesn't live in Whaley Bridge!!
The Toddbrook Reservoir is in a dangerous state above the town.

Good luck everyone, stay safe.

2 degrees and a touch of snow in Cumbria have a good day

Only 2 degrees ? If the third one had been there they could have given you a rendition of, " When will I see you again":)

In Carlisle it's 7% in the leaden skies the percentage of rain is between 82%- 99% wind speed 48mph to 51mph. having a great day!

It been truly horrible for days here in Lancaster with local flooding. Escaping to PP in one week’s time and cannot wait to get away from here!

Well I've avoided the yucky weather in the uk this week by being here in town... but I've got a horrific cold so I've spent most of my time in bed... great.
