We love Zarzales and go regularly but hadn’t watched the flamenco for a few years. We went last week and it was a great show, sitting in the garden area with the usual fantastic Zarzales service and food. Highly recommended.By the way...Zarzales has Flamenco dancing every Thursday night, starting at 8pm. So book your table (very) early for 7pm on a Thursday and you'll get a special treat.
My family went last night and said it was excellent.
I haven’t tried it myself but I’ve seen very positive reviews elsewhere.Your mention of sandwiches....has anyone heard how Al Fresco is doing?
I remember someone else took it on and was a disaster but I'm sure it was to open again this season with new people.
It used to be so good a few years ago and handy for a lunch.
Stay Restaurant for the tourist menu, go especially for a celebration. Los Faroles for the fresh fish. Angelos Italian for the king prawn and asparagus risotto. Iru restaurant for anything on the menu it is all fresh and excellent. Voramar for a cheap night pizza, eat it on the beach. One week in PP. where would you eat. Include on place in old town pollensa and old town alcudia. Thank you….
La Llonja Cantina is popular for PaellaLamb - Zarzales - Shoulder for me, beautiful. Shoulder in Portofino was superb last time i ate there a couple of years ago
Suckling Pig - Celler la Parra (Frito Mallorcan best in PP?)
Fish - Used to be Brisa marina and Can Ferrer. As I posted recently, El Casinet's Bacalao con Tumbet is insane.
Italian - Angelos is excellent - Milanese to die for.
Paella - same as Disorderly, used to be Brisa Marina, haven't tried anywhere else yet. (Where are Mallorcans going on Sundays?)
It is now being run by the team at Tothom. I think it's now called Barrut.Your mention of sandwiches....has anyone heard how Al Fresco is doing?

Tolos is run by Villa QuisinesDon’t disagree with any of the above. Perhaps would add Tollos for a great steak, la Roc for a good pizza, and I personally love a sneaky trip to Pascalinos - sorry as not the same quality as the above for culinary experience, but great for crispy beef and fried rice washed down with a few iced beers!

Apols as I’m missing the significance. Is the reference to Villain Quisines a criticism, or something i should be aware of. We really like Tollos but the comments are making me suspect something I should be aware of???Sensible lad![]()
Hi Joycey, I don’t think there is anything to be concerned about. I think this is just a bit of friendly banter. I think Villain is just an autocorrect error, and it should be Vila, who are a local and well liked business. They used to have more restaurants in the Port but, for various reasons, now just have Tolos (though I could be wrong). In my experience from eating in their other places the food is good - though I haven’t eaten in Tolos.Apols as I’m missing the significance.
