Hi Rachel

As Sharon says it is very easy to book resorthoppa online. When you have collected your baggage at Palma go through into the arrivals hall and there is a resorthoppa desk, with staff waiting to direct you to their coach.

Have a lovely stay looks as though the weather has really settled down now.

Do they usually make a lot of stops en route to PP?

This seems to depend on season, obviously the more people they carry the more stops they make. My daughter used it recently and there were about 12 people on the coach. They stopped about 3 or 4 times in Alcudia before continuing to Puerto Pollensa.

We have used it in the quieter months (Jan & April) and have only stopped 3 times.

We have also found it very easy to take the bus, but not much cheaper and you have the added advantage of going straight from A to B.

I would also mention that if you are staying in a private apartment, you have to book to a tourist registered hotel or apartment complex to get off. This isn't too bad as there is usually somewhere near your apartment.

Hi Whaley and Sharon,

Thank you very much for your replies! Whaley you are right weather seems beautiful at the mo my parents rang home yesterday and it appears to be in the 30's so can not wait till Friday!

My only concern was that arrive at ten to nine in the evening I take it I can just get my bag and head to the hoppa desk - I just hope I don't have long to wait on the coach as I will be by myself. I am heading to a private apartment near the marina - I could just get out at the roundabout or should I stay on board to the nearest hotel/ apartment??

Sorry for all the questions - you would think as a regular PP visitor and even worse a travel agent - I wouldnt have as many lol :):)

Hi again Rachel

Yes you are correct, just go straight to the resorthoppa desk. The longest we have had to wait before the coach left was 1/2 hour but there were other people on the coach so you would not be by yourself (this was off season).

Obviously you must not have made you're booking yet as when you book you have to state on the form where you will be getting off, if it is not a recognised tourist hotel or apartment block they will ring you to ask which hotel. They do not let people hop off anywhere as it would take much longer to get people to their destination. As I said in my previous post just find out the name of the nearest hotel/apartments and make the booking to there.

It's a doddle really - Hope this helps.

Thats a big help! Thanks very much!!

Ill probably just book this to the Daina Apartments then seems to be handy enough!

Thanks again

R :)

resort hoppa

Having read some good reports about resort hoppa on this site,I thought about booking them for September. But I have just read several bad reports on Trip Advisor web site, including one family that took them 4 hours to reach PP because of waiting for other planes. As anybody else had bad experiences with them .
I think taxi,s are my best bet.

If you want to be sure that you are not hanging around waiting then taxis are your best option. However, if you are prepared to trade off a potential wait for a much reduced rate then Resorthoppa will be fine.

If my parents are travelling with my son I book a taxi to take them up to PP as the flight gets in around 9pm and my son is getting quite tired by then. However they take Resorthoppa coach back to Palma on the return journey as there is always plenty of time.

Regards

Sharon
