Pine Walk Stroll

On Sunday during the festival we saw a lady walking her pig along the pine walk. This would be round about 11pm or so. She had the pig on a leash just like a dog.

This is so strange as when we were out in June we came across someone walking a little lamb on a lead! She ws trying to train it like a dog! We thought it strange as if you want a dog - get one! Why try to train a lamb to be a dog??

Anyway - perhaps it is the same person. Good for her. As I have always said regarding the Bay - each time you look you see something new!

We were sat having a meal at the Bahia during the first week in July and we too saw a lady walking a very small pig on a lead.My three girls thought it was wonderful.

A resident in our block has a ferret which is taken out on a lead, i wonder if it's the same one Debz .

... we all love the statue of the family of pigs under the palm tree beside the new road!...

Shotokan we love the family of pigs as well..so cute! But why are they there?

So ... we've got pigs, lambs and ferrets being taken for walks on leads!!!! And people said I was bonkers 'cos I could see a puppy in the mountain

Once you've seen the puppy!... it's now a classic and I've had some funny convesations with loads of people about it now (some who lived there for years too). It frustrates me to bits when they give you a dumb look and you end up drawing on bits of paper etc.

so did you spot it first Debz?... celebrity status!

Given th epalm tree and wee stream, I thing it's just a crazy piece of open air art by the landowner... never seen anything quite like it...my wife goes for a walk by it every morning when we're there ...

I must share this with you - my friend has just popped in for a coffee while I was reading these posts - she asked me what I was doing and I told her I was catching up with whats what in PP where we have our villa. I asked if she wanted to have a quick look. I have got to say her face was a picture and she just said WHAT!!!!! - Having never looked at the site before and only reading this thread, I think she thought it was the place of wayward brains lol.
No offence to anyone - just very funny thread to someone not in the know!
We had a good laugh when I explained.

I thought it was a very strange place for the statues to be and wondered whether the landowner was a pig farmer. I've seen similar though as live 10 miles from Milton Keynes famous for it's concrete cows!!


I was certainly the first to mention the puppy on this forum...and some people mocked (Bella!!) I've pointed him out to quite a few locals who, as you say, give you a bit of a funny look....and then the euro drops and they are all amazed they haven't seen him before !

That's so funny I can just picture your friends face ! Mind you maybe not far wrong about the place for wayward brains...we just think we're normal but to an outsider!!!!
