Have just heard that Kev (ex JK's) has opened his new venture in the old Trotters bar and it is called "Bar Med". Will post more details as soon as i have them. Good luck Kev

Yes Kev has changed the decor, the Fools and Horses theme has gone along with the "tiled roof" effect canopy over the bar area, it is now fresh and white. He will still be showing the sports and is planning to do light snacks.
Opening times will be :-
Monday-Saturday = 10 am til 11pm.
Sunday = 12noon til 11pm.

Shame I just missed the opening, I saw Kev working hard outside on the last day, he looks well and I wish him all the luck in his new venture, good name as well, glad he finally thought of one!

Hubby and I popped in to support Kev on his opening last night and I have to say the place looks so different....much lighter, brighter and gives the effect of having more space.

I popped in on Saturday evening, the place looks much bigger and Kev said he is waiting for the new sign. Although it was quiet, most places are on a Saturday he was quite upbeat and seemed pleased with how things are going.

Juan popped in early evening yesterday and was pleased to see that the dartboard is still there. Kev is hopeful that people will find him in his new venue. Did he not have an opening night? Hope to see you soon Sparky to share something cool and drinkable!!

JMD, re- opening night, i think Kev just opened quietly, he is not one for making a big fuss is he?. I believe the boxing was on that evening.

Called in a couple of times to see Kevin and the new bar, I like the new location, outside seats, sitting at the bar if you lean back you can see the sea, all set up now with 3 large screens. So great place to catch some sport or even for a quiet drink off the beach during the day, open all year I think, I wish them all the luck in the new location.
