Does anyone know any more info on the superb irish band who were in mulligans last Friday. I was told that it was a one off show as they normally do bigger venues , they were very good,would travel a bit to see them again.

I think they were called the Raggle Taggle Gypsies. Just caught the end of them last week - very good. They seem to be there a lot judging by the board outside Mulligans

I think they are actually of Scottish origin. Hope that doesn't sound Irish

Irish, Scottish, south west of UK, Galicia is all Celtic music after all, try and catch the local bagpipe and pipe band, they will surprise you too!! :)

The weeks entertainment in Mulligans :-

Monday = Rock and Roll Show.
Tuesday = Elvis.
Wednesday = Raggle Taggle Gypsies.
Thursday = Elvis.
Friday = Raggle Taggle Gypsies.
Saturday = Brenden O'Brien.

I m afraid that Elvis aka Denis is unable to perform at the moment due to illness, hope he gets well soon.

If that's the Brendan O'Brian that was a fixture at Posh Paddy Bar Alcudia, then Mulligans are in for a treat. When we fell into Paddys we were transfixed by the guys ability to play almost any string or wind instrument. Most impressive was playing a Black Sabbeth number one handed on the guitar whilst drinking a beer with the other. Here's the picture.......

A party piece with anyone newly arrived was to ask where they were from -when told he promptly said he had played the local venue and went on to explain details he could only know if he had been there. Invariably the punter nodded their heads in confirmation and a look of disbelief on their faces.
We lost count at 13 different instruments he used in his act. Amazing guy. Check him out on YouTube - Brenan Obrian or Posh Paddys Bar Alcudia.
