I wanted to edit the text style in my Christmas message and although the drop down menu gives several different style options it always defaults to the same one (Times new roman!?). Any chance this could be fixed, as the facility worked last Christmas. ;)

Thanks guys, it was the styles that I couldn't get rather than the size, bold etc or colour, one or two of the styles worked for me but not all of them, I couldn't get Comic Sans, for example.

This passage of text should have shown up as Comic Sans!

Just had a thought, maybe because I'm using an Ipad!

My reply was in "Comic Sans" Whaley and it has worked for you today ;).

Thanks, that's nice to know, it must just be reading it on an Ipad then that it doesn't show as Comic Sans.......very strange.......... the wonders of technology!

I don't think you do see the amended font, colour, size etc as you are typing but if you preview post before you submit reply, you should see it exactly as it will appear.....hopefully;)

You are quite right Ragdollabbi and you also see it if you "edit" your post ;).

The reason you are not seeing the font is probably because your Ipad does not have that font installed and the system will therefore display text in a default font.

Thank you, I think your explanation is correct as I cannot see the edited font even when the post is actually published and other people can who are using a PC.
