Hi there, wondered if someone could help please? When we are over we usually use supermarkets by the Pollensa Park, however have seen people talk about a big Eroski? Where is it? We have an apartment near to El Ancla, we do not have a car so would we get a taxi there and is it easy to get a cab back? Any help gratefully appreciated thank you.

There are several large supermarkets in PP.

1. Puerto Pollensa Eroski Main (Formerly Caprabo) -
this supermarket (the largest) can be found just after the main roundabout as you enter Puerto Pollensa, on the left-hand side opposite the petrol station.

Mon-Sat 09:30 - 21:30 Sun (Apr-Oct) 09:30 - 14:30

2. Puerto Pollensa (town centre)
Avenida de Joan XXIII, 22
this supermarket can be found on the main road (Juan XXIII), near the Marina, on the left-hand side (when facing the sea)

3.
HIPER Centro
C/ Vicente Baudes, 11 Tel 971 866 888

See Shopping & Markets link at the left hand side of this page.

We stay not far from you its easy to walk to the big Eroski, don't know street names sorry. If you look at restaurant maps for Cella Para you would pass the big Eroski on your way if walking in direction from Pollensa Park. Its not far most of walk is along the dual carriage way cycle path so safe. When you pay for shopping ask the cashier and they phone for you a taxi paid about 6 euro last year well worth it for the money saved.

Thank you for replies, Sunny do i have to walk by the Pollensa Park to get on to the right road? As i am usually so lazy on my hols i just walk around with my eyes closed and i don't even have a clue how to head for the road to the main roundabout!!! I do apologise for sounding so dim??!!

You don't need to walk along the Dual carriageway.

If you head into the port, you can walk through La Gola or up Temple Fielding to the Petrol Station and then onto the Supermarket.

You need a map!!

If you're going by taxi why not go to lidl which has a big ergo ski next door

just the way we have always walked El Gordo as appartment we stay in is behind Panorama hotel so makes more sense for us to walk along and then on to back road (Dual Carriage way).

If your walking along the front temple fielding is just past the little bridge with all fishes, by sail and surf.

Yes Sunny, you are obviously very near the ring road and that will be your shortest route. :D

Thank you all very much and yes El Gordo i will download map but if i follow road, (fielding?), right to the end do we then turn left? Thank you again in anticipation. Your very blonde friend Janey x
