1st time help - disabled villa close to amenities

I am desperately trying to find a villa in Majorca to take my daughter for her 1st holiday abroad with our family.

We are looking for minimum 3 bedrooms, own pool and close enough to shops/restaurants and beach preferrably as we would need to hire a wheelchair hire car to get around and i don't think there are any. We would need a ground floor bedroom and hoisting facilities would be essential, although we can always hire i presume if not.

ANY HELP WOULD BE REALLY APPRECIATEd, as I've spent weeks looking and can't find anything.

Hello Sue,
Are you looking for something suitable for this autumn or for 2012? To be fair I do not think you will find a villa fitted with hoisting facilities however certainly a villa with a ground floor bedroom and suitable for wheelchair users. A number of disability aids can be hired locally through Multi Hire.

There is a company that specialises in disabled holidays Disabled Accessible Holidays provides accessible holidays in accessible accommodation which is wheelchair suitable for disabled people.

I don't think they have Villas but do have 3 bed apartments with a pool with a hoist. I think the apartments are in Vista Boquer.

Thank you everybody. In the meantime, i have found DAH Apartments are going to give them a try. Has anybody ever stayed in either the IPA Cervera or vista Boquer apartments before in Majorca?

Hi we are the managment company for Disabled access holidays in PP Vista Boquer apts there is a 3 bed in the block on the 3rd floor, they are designed for wheelchair users with large door frames, wet rooms, showerchair, hoist and bed rails for the working bed, the block does have a swimming pool with a hoist but unfortunatlly the main board has blown and at the moment are waiting the part from Madrid.
Please do not think I am selling you this holiday, I do not get commission for it I am just replying to your post to advise, I also do not know of any villas that have these facilites that you require otherwise I am sure that DAH would have it on there books.

We have a villa which I advertise on P.P.com. Ours is in the countryside and and I gather you are looking for a villa or apt nearer to P.Pollensa. We had it built to cater for our severely disabled son. However I have never been able to hire a converted car, which is a pain.
